Early Thermographic Screening of Breast Abnormality in Women with Dense Breast by Thermal, Fractal, and Statistical Analysis

Objectives: Breast cancer is the prime reason for mortality in women across globe and India. Early screening to identify breast abnormality before actual symptoms are visible only effective way of reducing associated this can be accomplished by creating a large thermographic dataset with supporting clinical findings. thermography, which non-invasive, painless, non-toxic, cost-effective method, potentially used early screening, especially lesions dense breasts. Methods: The current study single-center preliminary thermography-based 5 malignant 7 benign female subjects that highlights correlation thermal, statistical, fractal features obtained from thermograms (malignant benign), characteristics patients. Results: A comparison mean surface temperatures 12 shows contralateral temperature difference more than 0.5 ℃ cases, whereas, value between 0 0.2 ℃.
